2019年，由KELLY HOPPEN担纲设计的北京CBD核心区项目——“首创·天禧”新样板区甫一面世，便吸引来全球的目光。为此，我们做了一次简短的视频采访，想听听这位设计女王如何谈论北京和北京的这件豪宅作品。
Beijing is a city in its own right. It's like London in the sense that it has all the wonderful wealth of its culture. And I think that Beijing for me is always exciting to visit. I love the whole essence of Beijing, everything about it, its architecture，and I think mainly the people.
北京是一座独特的城市，从某种意义上说它很像伦敦，有着其自身文化所蕴含的所有精彩。每次来到北京，我都很兴奋。我爱北京的底蕴，爱它的一切，爱它的建筑，爱这里的人。

In every project, there were going to be challenges, whether it's the height of the ceiling, whether it's the space, whether it's the outlook, but you have to overcome that, you have to think outside of the box and create something that's unique and it's special.
每个项目都会遇到挑战，无论是天花板的高度，空间抑或端景，你必须克服这些，你必须跳出固有的想法，才能创造出独一无二的东西。

And for us working with Beijing Capital Land with my team here，every single piece we had signed to make sure that it was perfect. We wanted to create a masterpiece for Beijing Capital Land, and I believe we've done that.

You know if anything the moment you walk into this incredible entrance, and going in with your VIP area on the right which is like going into someone's living room, and then going into all the little areas where you can sit and wait for your guests or people coming up to see you.
无论何时，当你走进（首创·天禧）这个不可思议的入口，再走进右边的贵宾区，会感觉像走进自家的客厅。而后你可以走进所有的小区域，在那里你可以坐下来等候你的客人。
Going up in the wonderful lift and then appearing in these extraordinary apartments that are absolute you know completely uniquely designed for you.

I think when designing an apartment in the city, it's very important to really understand how the space is going to be used, if the space is smaller than you would want it to be.
在市中心设计一套公寓，懂得这个空间将如何为人所用是非常重要的，尤其是当它的面积没有你设想的那么大。
You have to really think about the zoning of it and that's why I love to use my natural tones and the Kelly Hoppen Taupe colors and all the in-lays on all the wonderful marbles using only the best best quality.
你必须认真考虑它的分区，这就是为什么我喜欢采用自然色调和我专用的灰褐色，以及最优质的大理石所带来的美丽条纹。
And the lighting is very important. So you have your natural light coming in, because you're in an apartment and you're high up. But at the same time we have to have beautiful lighting in the night.

So you have to take into consideration all of these design aspects to create the ultimate home for somebody to live in.

You know whether living in the western society, in Britain or living in Beijing, I think when you want something of great taste and a great luxury, there's no difference to what country you live in.
无论生活在西方，生活在英国还是北京，当你想要一种极致的品味与奢华，这与你生活在哪儿并没有什么关系。
We all aspire to having something incredibly special and really beautifully designed，and so everyone should have that today.
我们都渴望一些经过设计的精美之物，今天每个人都应该拥有它们。
I love coming to Beijing and I want to wish anybody or anyone who is going to live in these apartments, and wish you well and all the happiness that you could ever want.
