我们正身处大变革的时代。科学技术在改变，生产生活方式在改变，人与人、人与世界的关系也在改变。建筑学科及市场也正面临新情景，新局面：AI技术是否会对建筑学带来革命性颠覆？后疫情时代需要建筑空间做何回应？逆全球化的趋势对建筑学有何影响？技术革新的推广与地域性、文化性差异如何平衡？标志性建筑应如何彰显文化自信？贫富差距、城市与乡村的隔阂可否通过建筑实践得以缓解？高密度城市建设与环境可持续是否可同时实现？当前市场环境下我们如何强化自身？带着所有的疑问及对行业建设的使命感和责任感，我们希望通过本次国际月的系列活动，走访、分享、探讨，与东西方同行们共同展望建筑之未来。
We find ourselves in an era of profound transformation. Science and technology are advancing, altering our modes of production and lifestyles. Relationships between individuals and the world are evolving. The discipline of architecture and its market face new scenarios and challenges: Will AI technology revolutionize the field of architecture? How should architectural spaces respond to the post-pandemic era? What impacts will the trend of de-globalization have on architectural practice? How can the promotion of technological innovation be balanced with regional and cultural differences? How can iconic buildings embody cultural confidence? Can architecture alleviate the disparities between wealth and poverty, as well as the gaps between urban and rural areas? Can high-density urban construction coexist with environmental sustainability? In the current market environment, how can we strengthen our own capabilities? With a sense of purpose and responsibility towards the development of the industry, and fueled by a multitude of questions, we aspire to shape the future of architecture through a series of activities during this international month. We will visit, share, and engage in discussions, alongside our counterparts from the East and the West, in a collective endeavor to envision the architecture of tomorrow.
在清华大学建筑设计研究院建院65周年华诞，清华院国际部成立4年之际，我院将2023年7月设立为“国际设计学术月”并举办“东西问 · 筑未来”主题系列活动。包括主题展览、对外交流、高峰论坛、参观访问、设计讲堂等学术活动。清华院站在国际视角，展望未来，始终秉承”精心设计、创作精品、超越自我、创建一流“的目标，攻坚克难，不忘初心。
On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the founding of Tsinghua University Architectural Design and Research Institute (THAD) and the fourth anniversary of the establishment of THAD's International Affairs Department, our institute will designate July 2023 as the "International Design Academic Month" and organize a series of activities under the theme of "Questioning East · Exploring West · Building the Future." These activities will include themed exhibitions, international exchanges, summit forums, site visits, and design lectures. THAD takes an international perspective and looks towards the future while remaining dedicated to the principles of meticulous design, creating high-quality works, surpassing ourselves, and striving for excellence. We will overcome challenges and remain true to our original aspirations.

由国际建筑师协会主办的第二十八届世界建筑大会将于2023年7月2日至6日以“可持续的未来--不让任何一个人掉队”为主题，在丹麦哥本哈根举行，清华院由院领导带队参加大会，并将在大会上接过象征2026年UIA大会中国展承办单位代表的大旗。同时，清华院将有29个精选作品在大会展览”中国馆“展出。
The 28th World Architecture Conference hosted by the International Union of Architects(UIA) will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from July 2 to 6, 2023, with the theme of "sustainable future -- let no one fall behind". As the Lead Organizing Committee for the 29th World Congress of Architects' "China Pavilion", THAD will participate in the congress led by the leadership. At the same time, THAD will showcase 29 selected projects in the exhibition "China Pavilion".

第二十八届世界建筑大会的展览中，清华院推送了50余项作品，其中29项精选作品将在丹麦”中国馆“展出，清华院将在院内展出全部50余项作品。
In the exhibition of the 28th World Architecture Congress, THAD submitted over 50 featured projects, of which 29 selected projects will be exhibited at the "China Pavilion" in Denmark. THAD will showcase all 59 projects at our Beijing headquarters in Tsinghua campus.

走进外企是我院品牌系列活动，自2015年第一场至今已举办近30场，活动旨在营造一个清华建筑设计研究院与外国在华设计公司的展示和交流平台。本次走进外企国际月特别篇将通过线上讲座的形式，为观众们带来思想盛宴。
"International Design Exchange @THAD" is a series of events organized by the International Affairs Department of THAD. Since the first event in 2015, we have successfully organized more than 30 sessions. The event aims to create a platform for exchanging ideas between THAD and foreign design companies in China. The International Month special event will invite international design firms to share ideas and practice experiences with all the audiences.

Only by working together can we chart a new course; only by advancing hand in hand can we make steady progress toward our goals. The International Affairs Department of THAD will coordinate a team to visit MAD, engaging with architects from around the world to explore the path ahead. Together, we will confront the complexities of the external environment and jointly promote the prosperous and stable development of architectural design.
